Variables in brackets and ICU plurals (and other selectors) are now highlighted and there is an editor where you can manage them.

I would also like that pluralization setup was integrated into the UI instead of manually have to add keys for each version of a word or translation. This would probably require selecting what i18n package that is used for handling i18n, so the pluralization translations can be exported in the matching format. We are using i18njs ourselves and the format is as shown here:
